Each week, we’ll explore fun, fabulous, and fierce topics for today’s teens, drawing on pop culture and themes from the books we write. We’ll also be having a “blogger” chat on January 11th and a writer/author chat on the 18th to answer questions about self and indie pubbing. See our blog for details.

And now with no further ado, I will introduce myself: Karly Kirkpatrick

I love reading and writing YA lit. By day, I teach high school students German and French, and by night I write! I love to travel as well and also love spending time with my husband and daughter. I'm also a Harry Potter fanatic, I write all my books in my special Harry Potter room.

    I thought I was the only one who had a Harry Potter room...the latest addition was a replica of the Elder Wand, which I brought home from Hogsmeade in Universal Orlando. squee. *hugs it*

    I know, right? Grown ups shouldn't hug their wands...in public.

    I am so glad that I found this blog hop! You are new to me as well as many of the other Indelibles. That was the idea though, wasn't it? I love finding new authors to stalk and new books to read.     OMG Ash, I have the Elder Wand too! We also got it at Ollivander's in Hogsmeade! Ahahahaha. I've also got quite a few of the smaller Lego sets on my desk as well.
